This week, a very fortunate guest at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas won multiple slot machine jackpots totaling more than $1.4 million in a matter of hours.
The majority of the money was first obtained by the player from seven consecutive payouts. That was eclipsed by winning an additional $319K at Caesars Palace a few hours later on the same day.
On Tuesday, $1,482,337 was won by the unidentified winner from the eight jackpots.
The property's owner, Caesars Entertainment, declined to comment on the guest's decision to stay nameless.
Sofia Jimenez, a spokesman for Caesars Entertainment, did describe the overall compensation as "whopping."
The gaming establishment's triumph this week comes after another unidentified player won almost $1.7 million from seven different jackpots over the course of two weeks on Caesars Palace's slot machines.
Starting on March 26, those payouts started with three wins in a span of just three hours. Around 9:27 p.m., the individual won $125,000 on the slot machine. They earned $383.5K at 10:58 p.m. after that. At 12:27 a.m. on the following day, the player struck again, this time for $159,250.
The sum came to $667,750 in the end.
Last week, the player went back to Caesars Palace to try their luck on the slots once more.
Last Thursday, they achieved two distinct victories. $157.5K was the amount of the later one, while $692.5K was the first. On Friday, there was yet another $100K win. The last win on Friday was for $110,000.
The total won by that slot player over 10 days was $1,727,750. In a recent statement, Jimenez called the successive wins “astonishing” and “remarkable.”
Local press reports said that a Dragon Link machine was responsible for most, if not all, of the victories. The company that makes them is Aristocrat Gaming.
On Sunday, an unidentified visitor to The Cromwell, another Caesar Entertainment property on the Las Vegas Strip, won $130,615 in cash.
When playing Three Card Poker, the player hit a straight flush and won the money.
The winner and their spouse were in Las Vegas. They plan to purchase their daughter a car with a portion of the money.
The winner was described by Caesars Entertainment as "ecstatic."
A visitor from Apple Valley, California hit jackpots totaling over $128K at the Strat Hotel, Casino and Tower last month while playing Ultimate Texas Hold 'Em at the Las Vegas gaming establishment.
On March 3, a man known only as "William S." won two progressive jackpots with the same hand.
He wagered $5 and won $114,001 in the first jackpot. He won $14,900 with the second wager, which was for one dollar.
The Strat is owned by Golden Entertainment.
